Stahltronic - Positioning Module POS

Programable module for controlled positioning of conveying vehicals of all types

The positioning module POS1 offers the control engineer an efficient component for the controlled positioning of rapid and creep speed drives. The POS1 assumes complete control of the conveying vehicle. With its practically orientated and efficient operating modes and settings, the POS1 permits extremely short commissioning times and a maximum of functional reliability.

The decisive advantage of the POS1 is its simple parametrisation by means of PC or laptop on a clearly laid out Windows surface. Special knowledge of programming is not necessary for configuring the POS1.

The POS1 is flexible as regards the sensor connection too:
an absolute value encoder either with a synchronous serial interface (SSI) or an RS485 interface (Stahltronic position encoding system WCS) can be connected to the POS1.

Applications for the POS1 are conveying vehicles of all types which are to be positioned fully- or semi-automatically, such as e.g. storage and retrieval machines, traversing carriages, lifting and lowering stations, electric overhead conveyors, or cranes.
